TGCUK MISSION STATEMENT
The charity’s Mission statement specifically covers the following:
1. To promote the arts and cultural heritage of Ghanaians and to advance the education of the public in Ghanaian culture, including its music, dance, language, and food, through the organisation of festivals, workshops, and performances.
2. The relief of elderly people in need, particularly but not exclusively of Ghanaian descent, by providing emotional support, practical assistance, and opportunities for social interaction.
3. The promotion of social inclusion among people who are migrants in the United Kingdom, who are socially excluded on the grounds of their social, economic and cultural background, by providing community support for social integration and guidance in navigating the United Kingdom.
4. To promote moral improvement and welfare of young people by organising seminars, workshops, and activities aimed at raising awareness of social issues such as substance abuse, gang violence and mental health.
